Grants.gov is a good place for felons to look for grants. This government website offers a lot of information on grants that are being offered from the federal government. The federal government is the single largest source of grants in the country. You can find many different types of grants available, including $5,000 government grants for arts, business, and community programs.

- You can leave the “all agencies” selected, so that you will be able to see grants that are available from all different agencies within the federal government. You never know for sure what category the grants you are interested in will be found.
- Felons looking for grants should check the website frequently, because the grant information will continue to change regularly. As grants are awarded to people, new ones will be posted. The government gives out grants all year long. Felons who don’t see a grant they are interested in applying for right now may find one that interests them a month from now.
