Social Security – Veterans who are old enough to collect social security payments may want to file to begin the process. Ex-felons are eligible to receive social security payments as long as they have met the work requirement. To qualify for funds through this nation-wide program, you have to have worked for at least 10 years in your life. Even if you have been convicted of a felony and served time in jail or prison, you may have still earned enough work credits to qualify for getting social security. If you do, you will need to sign up for the program and they will send you a check each month.
