Additional Options
There are more options to consider if you need a grant to repair your car. There are many places that give grants to help pay for things like the electricity bill. You could use the money you have to pay for the car repair, and then apply for a grant or assistance to pay for the energy bills. It will work out the same, but you may find that it is easier to get an organization to give you money to buy food, clothing, bus passes, or pay for your energy bills than it is to get a grant for car repairs.
Also, be sure to check with your local churches. Many of them have programs that help people in the community who are in need.
